My 2017 Spotify Year In Review

Spotify users, rejoice! It’s the most wonderful time of year – time to look at your year in review!

Spotify relaunched it’s Year in Review program, which it began in 2015 and (for some god-forsaken reason) canceled in favor of an email which ended up faring pretty poorly in the eyes of Spotify users. But hey, the year in review site is back, at 2017wrapped.com. All you have to do is connect up your Spotify account and the engine will generate your stats and insights for you.

Here’s my 2017 in music:

  • That’s 4.5 hours a day if you don’t include weekends.
  • That’s 13 unique songs, on average, every day.
  • That’s 28 unique artists each week.

Most of these “Top Songs” were key anchor points in playlists I’ve created throughout the year, especially my Happy Playlist and Alt Rock Your Socks. I’m genuinely surprised Sundara Karma was my Top Artist, though without seeing the numbers, it’s hard to tell by what degree they were the top over each of the other four top artists. Each of them were subject to playlists that I meticulously curated and can be found below:
